Superb acoustic electric cutaway guitar. It is more beautiful than its pictures, I can tell it is not super expensive however as an experienced guitar player and owner i know how to care for an instrument. When cared for and treated properly the guitar sounds phenomenal. This guitar has less bass response due to its size, as a result it is less boomy which is desirable when playing with other instruments in the mix, the lack of low end can be overcome with its EQ by plugging it into an amp or DI. The EQ came equipped with a 9 volt battery wrapped and ready to set up. For the price I have no encountered a better deal and for a guitar i blindly purchased hoping it would play well i was not disappointed. The guitar is very light, the wood in places like the bridge is a tad softer than on more expensive models, and the finish if the guitar is dropped may chip. That being said, treat this guitar well and it will be worth every penny. I restrung it with elixir posphor bronze size ten and it seems an appropriate gauge for this guitar.
