[UPDATE JAN 2024] * I bought five (5) of LYKOS’s rectangular hard shell cases with the microgroove flat yellow tweed exterior and the plush rose red interior. They hold the guitar at an angle which makes more room for an extended accessory cubby with a lid. This configuration includes the removable full length neck support box. * I prefer the full neck support and there’s plenty of room for a cable, strings, multi tool, stand, and picks in the cubby, and the strap and lock washers on the guitar. * There is no excess bulk, and therefore no excess weight. They stack well and have a minimal footprint. So they’re great for safekeeping your guitars at home. * A certain other company is accredited with another version of these cases, but that company has a reputation for overcharging for everything. Meanwhile these cases from Lykos are so good, it made me chuckle. And this is a phenomenal price! * The structure is very conducive to installing magnetic induction lighting. I like when an automatic refrigerator light comes on every time I open a case. It’s very handy in the shadows just off the stage. * Some of the club circuit players in my area had cases like these, so they set off kind of a Pavlovian reaction in me. Somehow these cases make me feel more like an established musician. * These are great clubbing cases; not for rigorous distance travel. So these cases are everything you need until you hear the word, “boarding”. And that’s a word even taxicab and Uber drivers don’t say.[ORIGINAL REVIEW] Celebrating here. Black Friday. Amazing deal. The Seller is unbelievably patient, super helpful, first rate, high class, old school, professional to the max. Can't say enough good things about Lykos. And the product is the traditional tweed guitar case. I count at least seven possible interior configurations and at least three possible exterior color schemes. One of my favorites is the white tweed case with chocolate brown end-sleeves and the emerald green interior. But that one was lacking the optional long-length neck support box. (It was Ginger, but I liked Mary Ann.) And Lykos has that case. Traditional yellowish tweed, brown end-sleeves, and a deep rose-red, plush interior. And I'm looking at what made this country great. So I did the math: [ Cool Seller ] + [ Black Friday ] + [ traditional cases ] + [ $89 bargain price ] = [ FIVE! Sold, American! ] Everything with the Seller went as smooth as a satin finish on a guitar neck, so I'll always be grateful to Lykos. They alone took extra good care of me.
