Created in 1958 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Gretsch, the 6118 Anniversary had an ultra-cool finish straight from that era’s Cadillac. Today’s model still has it, along dual Filter’Tron humbucking pickups, Space Control bridge and Bigsby B6C vibrato tailpiece among many other fine features.
This new guitar was born in March of 2016. It is new, was never sold, and still carries the full Gretsch warranty.
This older, but still feisty model, features the often overlooked and under-appreciated Trestle bracing they no longer do.
The new and improved lower price reflects this.
