For a 3~4 year old, I should of just gotten a childs department store begginer guitar for less than 1/4 the cost of this. Everything Loog is expensive and does not offer much by way of quality. My suggestion would be to start with something inexpensive to determine level of interest and then buy something of much better quality for the same price as this. This sounds like it would be ideal for the little one but it is basically a way overpriced toy.. Good Luck!
