The quality of this guitar is fairly decent for the money as it is a beginners guitar after all it still was a joy to set up, I can say tho maybe they should make the guitar strap a little more durable or stronger if you will considering this is a beginners guitar chances are 45% of buyers will be for their youngster they would be more likely to drop it easier vs a professional electric thanks. For a TL;DR Pro/Con list scroll to the bottom of my review. There are a lot of things to like about this guitar and the first thing I am sure people will agree on is the price. Though you can find this exact same guitar for cheaper on Ebay (roughly 60-65). Though this is a Glarry guitar you may more than likely get the model without their branding on the headstock (the one from Ebay it seems) but it is still a fair price for everything you get. The gig bag included will have that famous plastic stench which goes away in a few days thankfully. the included accessories (strap, cable, pick etc...) aren't the highest quality but if you are a beginner they will definitely hold you over. The pick will warp/wear out very quickly though if you are an aggressive player. The guitar itself sounds great as-long as you keep it on either the bridge or bridge tones, the middle three options on the tone switch are just awful as they lower the overall volume of the output and introduce a ton of hissing. The strings that come with the guitar aren't amazing by any means but they are definitely usable. The main things wrong with the guitar I got that are true about most guitars is the setup. The action is pretty high and worse the nut was placed improperly and cut too deep for the strings it seems which could ruin the experience for new players but buying a new nut and getting a proper setup would easily fix this. The tuners are cheap as expected given the price so the tuning will almost never hold and when trying to tune it will skip around quite a bit. The fretboard I had gotten was very very dry and I have heard others with the same issue and its another issue that is easy to address but I figured was worth mentioning. The guitar did have some damage around where the body bolts to the neck which is disappointing but isn't too noticeable or problematic.I would say if you are getting this for a young child/beginner its more than usable as is but you would want to get a proper setup if they do enjoy it. As for the rest of everyone, its definitely worth it even just to throw around and noodle some guitar riffs without having to worry about damaging a more expensive guitar.Pros:PriceAesthetic/StyleWeighs very little (about 6 pounds)UpgradabilityExtras ( strap, pick gigbag, and cable while not best quality are very usable for a new player)Size?(Can be a pro or con depending on personal preference. It is roughly 3ft long (about 37")Cons:Cheap hardware (tuners wont hold tune and are very jumpy)Poorly setup from factory (nut wasn't set properly and just needs to be replaced)Single coil pickup is useless as it lowers the output and increases static/noiseDry fretboardBody had chipped paint/cosmetic damageNot a lot of sustain but for beginners this is perfect to start onTBH, I was sceptical. A little over a hundred bucks, how could a guitar be any good? It suffers from cheap hardware, but much more stable and playable than I was expecting. Unbelievably out of the box, this crazy thing was actually playable. How? The pickups sound ok, the strings were reasonable height. No sharp fret edges, the neck was straight, tuning keys aren't great, but they work. I wanted a guitar with humbuckers, since my other guitar is a stratocaster. It feels light and cheap, but everything works. The body style is cool, it screams "metal", but does blues just fine. This is out of the box, with no adjustment. I'm sure it would sound even better with a set of good strings. If it holds up to daily playing, an awesome bargain. Never heard of "Glarry", but so far it's decent.I'm giving this 5 stars not because it's a 5 star guitar, because it's not. But for $100 it's amazing what you get that's why it's getting a 5 star review from me. Out of the box it needs alot of work to get it on any kind of decent playable state. I had to adjust the truss rod to put some relief on it. Conditioned the fret board and polished the frets. Put new strings on it and adjust the action and string height. Shielded the pickup and pot cavities and lubed the nut. After that she played like a dream. No high or uneven frets or sharp edges of any kind. It's really light weight so you do get a but of a tin rattle when you crank the volume but overall the tones you can get out of this thing are pretty good. Everything on it is cheap. From the tuners to your bridge to the tremelo. The trem is really cheap and barely usable, it took forever to balance it and once I did it barely had any functional movement. You can get a little out of it but not much. I gave up on it and just anchored it down. Finish is very impressive at this price. Mine came with a 3 piece top and the middle piece was a shade darker, I love that but I can see some people hating it. Over all its a really good looking guitar. For a beginner or if your starting out learning how to wire, set up, or work on guitars this thing is great. It's also just a really really good cheap guitar. Best $100 guitar on the market.I specifically bought this guitar as a project guitar. Something to fix up during the summer. First of all, Its very light. Not heavy at all. It came well packaged and nothing was wrong. The strings are factory cheap. ( of course...) So get new ones. The pick ups are meh... And the tuner knobs are somewhat decent. They hold for a little while then you'll have to retune. I don't have any problems with the neck or fret work. So the neck is fine. All in all its a decent guitar for a beginner, and a perfect project guitar for guys and gals who like to gussy up cheap guitars. You get your value for your money.I didn't really dislike any part of the guitar it sounds good and like I said before it's easy on the fingertips and I especially like that because I can play a whole lot longer all recommended for beginners and lifelong playersI like every thing about it, great guitar ?
